Hello, I'm Vanessa!

Creative work is my passion. A Hawai‘i-based freelancer who provides services in design and art, I love using strategy to create meaningful impact and get clients good results–across all media platforms.

After studying fashion design at California College of the Arts, I moved to the beautiful Hawaiian Island of Kaua‘i, where I learned graphic design at the award-winning Tsunami Marketing–employed as their full-time graphic production artist for three years.

When not doing freelance work, I teach. And find joy in witnessing the unfolding of the learning process, which is quite similar to "design thinking." To get inspired, I love to just be. Whether it is spending time in nature, practicing yoga, or laughing with 'Ohana.
